Our client is supplying fresh fish to a wide range of sectors from fish wholesalers, restaurants, hotels and colleges. They are a very successful, family run business who are keen to make you feel like part of the team from day one!
Role Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidates will be using knives to skin, fillet and trim a range of different fish such as sea bream, salmon and sea bass amongst many others
Candidates will be expected to work at pace whilst maintaining safe working practices. These are industrial filleting roles, so they must have experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
Candidates must have an eye for detail as they will be responsible for checking the fish for any defects or abnormalities
The role is wet by its nature and can be cold in winter; however, the client will provide PPE such as waterproof overalls, safety wellington boots and hats / gloves
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience
