(Visa) MIG Welder


The job is based in North West. You need to be willing to relocate to the North West before starting the job.

Salary: In excess of £40,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Various shift available

Experience: minimum of 3 years’ experience required

Responsibilities and duties:
• Working from engineering drawings to jig and weld chassis and associated components for the production of trailers
• Using jigs to assemble the structure before finishing with good quality welding
• Working with mild steel ranging in thickness from 3mm up to 12mm
• Types of welds include fillet welds, lap welds, tee joint welds
• Candidate must have experience of multi-positional welding
• Candidate will also be responsible for accuracy and quality control, ensuring they reduce the risk of costly re-work
• Training will be provided to get the candidates used to the client’s ways of working but the candidates will be expected to be of a standard that they can be up to speed and on target within 2 – 3 weeks
• A Good level of English is required
