Whilst we are hiring for a Sous Chef, we are interested in talking to experienced Chefs, Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs who are interested in relocating for an exciting new opportunity.

Salary: £34,000 per annum plus access to Tronc
Shift Pattern: You must be able to work 5 out of the 7 days with full flexibility

- You’re an accomplished Sous Chef with experience in gastro-pub settings.

What You’ll Do:
As a Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Head Chef and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. You’ll manage rotas, contribute to menu planning, oversee food safety and hygiene, and lead junior team members to consistently deliver high-quality dishes. Your responsibilities will also include:
- Managing orders, inventory, and stock control.
- Creating spec books to guide the kitchen team in producing consistent dishes.
- Maintaining high food safety standards and compliance throughout the kitchen.
- Collaborating on new creative menu ideas.
- Ensuring costs align with the department’s budget.
