Job Role: Restaurant Manager
Location: Northern Ireland: live-in available
Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Duration: Full-Time, 5 days out of 7, including weekends

This job is based in Northern Ireland; using our bespoke “Recruit and Relocate” service, Workforce will assist you in relocating if you do not live locally.
The role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager who thrives on enhancing customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and have a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
The role is within a hotel group, with multiple outlets so you will collaborate with other restaurant managers and report to the Restaurant Operations Manager. Your role will involve overseeing day-to-day operations and leading a team of 35-40 staff, including supervisors, waitstaff, and bar staff. Your focus will be to ensure the highest quality service and experiences for hotel guests.

Responsibilities:
- Efficiently run the restaurant on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the Restaurant Operations Manager
- Provide friendly, efficient service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality
- Ensure adequate staff coverage while achieving budgeted wage percentages
- Build strong relationships with both front and back of house staff to drive sales and continually improve standards
- Assist in the management, training, and leadership of the team to consistently meet and exceed standards
- Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about the correct use, safe handling, and security of all equipment in the food and beverage service areas
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all restaurant menus to assist with guest queries
- Stay up to date with resort facilities to upsell and maximize profitability
- Demonstrate professional communication skills with guests, customers, and colleagues
- Monitor team adherence to Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations
- Adhere to the Resort’s appearance and grooming standards.
Eligibility:
- Minimum of 4 consecutive years of restaurant management
- Experience in a fast-paced, busy restaurant environment
- Experience in opening and closing procedures, including till reconciliations and key holder duties
- Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends, along with bank holidays
- Strong leadership, motivational, and team-inspiring abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Performance-driven with a focus on excellent customer service at all times
- Have pride in delivering high standards of presentation, hygiene, and adherence to our client’s brand
